Purpose and Limits

This is a private reference service with no government ties. It stores no official custody files, cannot confirm a person's current status, cannot release anyone, and cannot submit documents to an agency or court.

Its pages point toward Roseau County inmate and jail record sources and may connect visitors with research tools operated by other companies.

Acceptable Site Use

You agree to use the site responsibly and within these limits:

• Do not violate any law while accessing or using the site.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or systems without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with access or service for other visitors.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited

Roseau County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. You agree not to use content or linked results for:

• hiring, retention, promotion, discipline, or termination decisions;
• tenant selection or any housing-screening decision;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit; or
• any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to release-record resources, sheriff and corrections sites, government portals, legal-aid materials, or outside search services. We do not control or endorse their content, data practices, pricing, or uptime. Review each destination's own terms and privacy policy.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made about:

• accuracy, completeness, or timeliness;
• continuous or uninterrupted operation;
• freedom from errors, bugs, or security weaknesses; or
• the scope or completeness of partner search results.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Roseau County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota Department of Corrections, a court, or any other government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roseau County Released Inmates and its owners, partners, and providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its owners and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by Roseau County Released Inmates or its content partners, except for material identified as belonging to another owner. You may not copy, distribute, publish, or modify protected material without written permission.

Changes to These Conditions

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted here, and continued use after posting means acceptance of that version.

Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or revoke access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Minnesota Law Applies

These terms are governed by Minnesota law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in Minnesota.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected term will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
